Make a line for each count of your breath. Then as you breathe out make lines coming out from your center point. Get a sense of how long it takes you to breathe out so when you draw the lines in step 2 you can evenly space them around the center. Take a few deep breaths in and out, starting to count the length of your inhale and your exhale. You may use this dot as a focal point to start to connect with the breath. Materials: Black Paper – White Crayons or White Pencil Crayons (OR the reverse) Step 1 – Center So when the jitters start to get to you, get out the white crayons and black paper (or invert this and go for black on white) and start to calm the mind by linking the breath and the pen.
